I’ve stayed in New York since graduating Hunter, getting my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Queens College of CUNY, and doing my post-grad at the CUNY Graduate School and University Center (ABD, with an in process Master’s).  For the last 35 years I have worked for New York City, in what is now the Administration for Children’s Services Division of Early Care and Education.  My role is primarily in planning and analysis for the City’s Head Start grant, which provides quality early education and support services to over 15,000 low income 3 and 4 year old children and their families each year.  I have no children of my own, but am a loving aunt to my niece and nephew and great aunt to their sons and daughters.
