From 2017 -

How many of us have thought of Acabullco for the answer to the security question “What is your school mascot?” That was only one of the many wonderful traditions we celebrated, part of what I remember most about HCHS.

After Barnard ’71 and an MS in Computer Science from NYS Courant Institute ‘73, I spent more than 30 years in Information Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. In 2010, I relocated to La Jolla/San Diego, California. I always wanted to live near an ocean, but I guess I never specified which one! I love walking along the beach.

Retired, I play a lot of tennis (and captain teams) and volunteer in various capacities. I am also learning how to play bridge. (Why didn’t we learn bridge in high school? It would have been both challenging and fun.)

I have two children. Eric (44), a business consultant, and Jeff (38), a firefighter/paramedic planning a fall wedding.

Update – 2022

Still playing lots of tennis and bridge. And continuing to volunteer.

Jeff and Megan were married in October 2017 here in San Diego. And three years later to the day, my grandson Jackson Miles Kutner was born. He was definitely the bright spot of 2020 during COVID and is an absolute delight.

I am still in San Diego, if anyone is visiting the area.

We had a special opportunity at HCHS – from all the traditions to the advanced math classes at Hunter College. Reunion time gives us a chance to remember it all.

I enjoyed planning the virtual reunion with Patricia (who continues to lead us all), Carol, and Adrienne. Looking forward to it!
