It would be impossible to capture my years since graduating from HCHS in words. The feeling of pride is a constant. The realization of how fortunate I am to have had six years of an outstanding education increases with each passing year. I am married and have two daughters, born 21 years apart. I have three adult grandchildren (29, 24 and 22) and two that are young (6 and 3). My 6-year-old grandson attends a charter school for gifted children. I am very thankful for the educational opportunity I had as a child and the fact that this opportunity still exists for children today. I retired after 35 years as a Quality Control Supervisor for the State of Florida. I "rewired" to part-time employment in healthcare for three years, and then fully retired. I cannot help but give my HCHS experience credit for the professional and personal success that I have had.
