BA, CCNY – Political Science

MBA, Columbia

After HCHS and college, I worked for a year as a statistician and then got an MBA. I met my husband Jeff at the beginning of business school and we have been married for 43 years. We have been very fortunate and have 3 great kids, all of whom are married, have great jobs and each has two children. Six grandkids for us and what fun we are having!

We lived in New York, New Jersey and Richmond, VA, before returning to New York. We now live in Westchester County but have recently purchased an apartment on the UES which we expect to more fully utilize when we retire.

Work life has been in commercial banking, and HR (in non-profits). Now, I am retired but still give financial advice to a few clients.

In addition to family and business, I have long been interested in issues pertaining to the elderly and have studied and advocated for this group throughout my post-HCHS life, through the National Council of Jewish Women and currently through the UJA. I also advocate for CCFA (Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation) and captain a walk team for the Westchester/Fairfield chapter.

Hunter formed the way I approach problems and all things intellectual and I will always be thankful for the strong basics that it provided. Perhaps even more importantly, Hunter imbued in me the attitude that women could pursue whatever education and career they wanted.
